Chairman’s Message – July 2026

The Gem – July 2026

As we celebrate the Fourth of July and the 250th birthday of our nation, we have an opportunity to reflect on the values that have shaped America for two and a half centuries: freedom, opportunity, innovation, and community.

Here in La Quinta, those values are reflected every day through the entrepreneurs, small business owners, and community leaders who invest their time, talent, and resources to make our city a better place to live, work, and visit. The American spirit of pursuing a dream, building a business, and serving others remains alive and well throughout our community.

July is not only a time to celebrate our nation’s remarkable history, but also to recognize the local businesses and organizations that continue to contribute to its future. Every new business opening, every job created, and every local purchase made helps strengthen both our local economy and the principles of opportunity that have made our country successful for 250 years.

One of the most exciting things happening in La Quinta is the continued investment in new businesses that are bringing fresh energy, unique experiences, and additional reasons for residents and visitors to spend time locally. Businesses such as Gambino’s, Halfsies, Golf Social Indoor Golf, The Golf Bar, Lola’s at The Cove, Casa De Silvia, and many others are helping shape the next chapter of La Quinta’s business community. These entrepreneurs have chosen to invest in our city, create local jobs, and provide new experiences that enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors alike.

While summer is traditionally a slower season in the desert, it is also one of the most important times for us to support the businesses that support our community throughout the year. Whether you’re dining at a local restaurant, shopping at a neighborhood retailer, enjoying a round of indoor golf with friends, or utilizing the services of one of our many local professionals, every dollar spent locally helps strengthen our community and supports the people who have invested in La Quinta.

The La Quinta Chamber of Commerce remains committed to supporting local businesses, advocating for economic growth, and fostering meaningful connections throughout our community. We are proud to welcome new businesses, celebrate existing businesses, and work alongside community partners who share our vision for a vibrant and prosperous La Quinta.

As we gather with family and friends this Independence Day, let’s take a moment to appreciate not only our nation’s history but also the local businesses and community members who help make La Quinta such a special place to call home.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and our Chamber members, thank you for your continued support of our local business community. Together, we are helping ensure that La Quinta remains a place where opportunity, innovation, and community continue to thrive for generations to come.

Wishing you and your family a safe, happy, and memorable Fourth of July.
